Owners Eric & Julie Wilson are passionate about health and fitness. Both have competed in numerous marathons, triathlons and dozens of shorter distance events over the last couple of decades and have been involved in the running/fitness community for many years. Eric, a quasi ultra-runner and former Boeing engineer, decided to leave corporate America not long after his 40th birthday, intending to spend more quality time with his family and considerably less time sitting behind a desk or sitting in traffic. Julie, a former graduate school professor and neuropsychologist, recently started running and swimming again after a five month hiatus to give birth to the couple's second child. Julie joined the 10k training group last month and is hoping to PR (well, finish comfortably anyway) later next month at the 'Run Wild For A Child' 10k in San Francisco.

Colin Bauer is studying anthropology at Diablo Valley College, hoping to transfer to Cal Berkeley next spring. Former team captain and MVP cross-country runner for Albany High, Colin hopes to one day dig up evidence to support the theory that Neanderthal Man may indeed have benefited from a good pair of motion control running shoes. In addition to his in-store 'FIT' duties, Colin coaches the No Boundaries 5k training program.

Brian Bort is a certified track & field coach and long time runner, and is currently working towards a Masters in Poetry at Mills college. He comes equipped with an unhealthy affection for shoes, but a firm desire to see them placed with good loving families. Brian also coaches the Berkeley High School cross-country team and leads the Fleet Feet half marathon training program. His favorite quote is, "No ape ever got up off its arse to walk."

Kevin Davis recently graduated from Cal with a degree in Psychology and is currently running for Nike. When he is not busy running and working at Fleet Feet Berkeley he volunteers for the Cal Berkeley cross-country and track teams as an assistant coach. Kevin strongly believes that if everybody started running the world would be a much healthier place. When asked why he runs, Kevin simply replied, "Just trying to inspire one guy/gal at a time to go crazy about running!" Sounds like a worthy endeavor.

Eileen Walsh is attending USF working towards her teaching credential and completing her Master's degree in Education. A long time runner and 'Team in Training' participant, Eileen's passion for running is only exceeded by her love of mathematics. Eileen plans to teach High School math after graduation.
